Spay/Neuter Agreement

Upon purchase of retired breeder, Buyer agrees to have dog Spayed / Neutered. Spay / Neuter procedure must be completed within 15 days of purchase to receive AKC papers. 

Upon receipt of veterinarian invoice of Spay / Neuter procedure and signed contract, Seller will provide AKC registration papers (dated after Spay/Neuter procedure is completed) to Buyer. Proper identification must be on the veterinarian invoice by using the microchip number of said dog in lieu of "name".

Your new Poodle is current with vaccines, and is on monthly heartworm medication.  Buyer agrees to keep retired breeder on heartworm medication, continue to update immunizations and vaccines, and provide any necessary medical attention. Buyer agrees that a dog is a lifetime commitment and guarantees a stable and permanent home for said dog.

Our goal is that no dog will have to go to an Animal Shelter, so if at any time buyer can no longer care for said dog the buyer agrees to accept responsibility to find said dog a new and proper home.  If a new home cannot be found, dog can be returned to Poodles by Design without compensation. 

This is legally binding contract. Any violation WILL result in court actions and will be held in the Seller's county (Howard County, Maryland). All expenses (attorney's fees, court costs, etc.) will be incurred by the Buyer. If legal action must be taken in the state of the Buyer then all expenses (including Sellers traveling, lodging, etc.) will be included in the suit and will be incurred by the Buyer.

By purchasing a retired breeder from Poodles by Design, you are agreeing to this contract.
